Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate healthcare professionals including EMT Basic, EMT Advanced, Paramedic, LVN/LPN, or RN to join our Plasma Donation Center team! Your unique skills and experience will make a significant difference in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical exams and assess medical history to determine donor suitability
• Build rapport with donors to ensure a satisfying experience
• Maintain confidentiality for both donors and staff
• Educate donors about potential hazards
• Provide health counseling and discuss test results with donors
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events
• Assess medical history to ensure ongoing donor eligibility
• Assist in training new employees
• Oversee the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program

Qualifications:

Must be currently licensed/certified in your state as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. High school diploma or GED required. Current CPR certification is a must.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform tasks while standing or sitting for 2 to 4 hours at a time
• Occasional bending and twisting of the neck
• Frequent hand movements and coordination needed for tasks
• Active engagement with donors, including walking and light lifting
