Description

In this role, you will:

• Build and manage production ETL platform to produce a knowledge graph that powers Apple Health features
• Ensure data quality and integrity within the graphs by implementing robust testing and validation processes.
• Work with data at scale, designing and delivering knowledge graph resources for various health domains
• Ensure interoperability and scalability for the backend that supports Apple Health features
• Collaborate with a diverse team of clinicians, data analysts, iOS engineers, and quality engineers to deliver user facing features.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in the creation and testing scalable code written in Java or Scala.
• Proven proficiency in managing data storage systems such as Cassandra, AWS Neptune, Postgres.
• Solid track record in developing graph and ETL in a live production setting, with a history of developing full-stack solutions.
• Familiarity with ETL data processing into knowledge graphs.
• Possessing a strong understanding of concurrency and memory management. Bonus if you have worked with Akka Actor Model.
• 4+ years of industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work with a large cross-functional teams
• Strong interest and background in Health and Wellness topics.
• Bonus if you have had exposure in working with medical code systems such as (LOINC, SnowMed)
