Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in marketing/media, sales, business development, or consulting.
• 5 years of experience with people management, leading and developing a business team, and managing geographically dispersed teams.
• 5 years of experience working cross-functionally and developing business strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing and leading large research and insights teams with significant scopes operating in complex environments.
• Experience working with Chief Experience Officers/Stakeholders on developing and delivering impactful thought leadership and strategic insights programs.
• Experience working with AI, Ads, and technology innovations, translating them into relevant insights for CXO, CMO, and cross-industry groups.
• Ability to be a dynamic and compelling communicator to challenge audiences with data-driven insights.
• Ability to drive excellence in insights generation and dissemination.

As a Head of Strategic Insights (Retail and CG&E), you will lead the America LCS strategy for Google's strategic insights programs, creating impactful and innovative thought leadership for our most important customers and industries. You will have a deep understanding of C-suite audiences, expert storytelling skills, and a strong grasp of the future of research, insights, marketing, and AI. You will build strategic narratives, engage with CXOs, and create thought leadership programs. You will partner closely with Google executives and sales leadership to align insights strategy with key business goals, ensuring offerings deliver maximum value and strengthen customer relationships. You will inspire and develop a high-performing team, driving continuous innovation in research methods and content formats. You will require a strategic mindset, excellent communication, and a passion for creating insights that elevate Google's thought leadership and drive customer growth.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $173,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of insights leads to curate and deliver forward-looking strategic sales and business storytelling that aligns with Google's business objectives and customer needs.
• Lead the development of innovative strategic insights and narratives including formats, content, and research that resonate with C-suite audiences and maximize impact.
• Collaborate closely with Executives, Sales Leadership, and cross-functional teams to understand strategic priorities, industry challenges, and trends, translating insights into high-value thought leadership.
• Forge strong partnerships with Sales Leadership to ensure insights strategy delivers against sales objectives and oversee the development of insightful content, industry trends, and research to enhance Google's thought leadership.
• Drive agile delivery of insights to respond to market shifts, innovate to lead, and meet evolving priorities while optimizing the effectiveness of insights programs to maximize ROI and long-term impact.
