Hardware Design Engineer

AWS Utility Computing (UC) brings innovative products to the forefront, with foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2). As part of the UC organization, you'll play a vital role in developing and managing services ranging from Compute, Database, and Storage to Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps. You will also support customers with specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Annapurna Labs, a key part of AWS UC, is focused on designing silicon and software that propel innovation. Our custom chips, accelerators, and software solutions tackle previously unimaginable challenges, enabling our customers to effect change in the world.

We are looking for a passionate Hardware Design Engineer to define, design, and validate the next generation of ML Chips, Cards, and server integrations. As a senior member of our hardware team, you'll lead discussions on PCIe and Serdes topics to create tailored platforms that integrate seamlessly into AWS's top-tier data center technology.

As part of the Machine Learning Acceleration team, you will design and optimize hardware for our data centers, spearheading the implementation of new technologies in large-scale server deployments.
