Hardware Engineer

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturer in Nashville, TN, to find a Hardware Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  Design and develop embedded electronic hardware, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.

  n

• n

  Create and optimize power supply circuits for efficiency, safety, and performance.

  n
n
• n

  Ensure hardware meets safety and compliance standards (UL, EMI/EMC, etc.).

  n
n
• n

  Perform FMEA and risk assessments to improve reliability and reduce potential failures.

  n
n
• n

  Create schematic and PCB design documentation.

  n
n
• n

  Oversee prototype builds, validation testing, and troubleshooting.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain detailed design documentation and contribute to process improvements.

  n
n
• n

  Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in embedded electronics.

  n
n

Qualifications

n
• n

  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  n
n
• n

  7+ years of experience in embedded hardware design.

  n
n
• n

  Strong background in power electronics, reliability design, and FMEA.

  n
n
• n

  Skilled in PCB design software; experience with circuit simulation tools preferred.

  n
n
• n

  Excellent analytical, documentation, and collaboration skills.

  n
n
