Handyman/Renovation Tech

Join our team as a Reno Tech where you will collaborate in pairs to renovate vacant apartments. This role involves performing a variety of tasks such as basic plumbing, including changing faucets and showerheads, basic electrical work like installing ceiling fans, carpentry tasks such as installing baseboards and door casings, and basic drywall patching or replacing sections.

Responsibilities

• Work in teams of two to renovate vacant apartments.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks such as changing faucets and showerheads.
• Conduct basic electrical work including installing ceiling fans.
• Undertake carpentry tasks like installing baseboards and door casings.
• Patch holes in drywall and occasionally replace sections of drywall.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in carpentry, construction, drywall, and framing.
• Experience with painting, hand tools, and finish carpentry.
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Skillful use of power tools such as sawzall, cordless drills, and finish nail guns.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
