Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and assist with current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, including Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering, and Target App features to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Promote and enroll guests in Target Loyalty programs where appropriate.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Follow Target policies and procedures, including safety, security, and compliance; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) orders, and returns; comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times).
• From the training provided, you should have: effective communication, welcoming attitude, attention to detail, ability to educate guests about products and services, ability to use multiple devices and scanners, work independently and in a team, stay focused in a fast-paced setting, and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.

Skills & Requirements

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and cash office responsibilities as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of shift; comfortable in varying temperatures and environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
