Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2850) at Target. Starting hourly rate: $19.00 USD per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and assist with their specific needs.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events. Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Efficiently scan and bag items, ensuring accuracy and food safety standards where applicable; minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality.
• Explain and demonstrate how to use Target App features (Wallet) and guide guests on Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following policy; partner with leadership as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace; stock supplies during open hours and remain available to guests.
• Adhere to safety, ethics, and compliance; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as Order Pick Up, Drive-Up, and Drive-Up Returns, while ensuring compliance with laws and store policies.
• Other duties as required by business needs.

Basic Requirements

• Accurate checkout operations and support for cash office as needed.
• Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance.
• Mobility for the duration of a shift; comfort with varying temperatures and store environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
