Group Fitness Lead Instructor

The Group Fitness Lead Instructor will help ensure the smooth and efficient operational procedures within the Group Fitness Department, enabling the club to provide the highest level of customer service. They will demonstrate an aptitude and command of all companywide policies and initiatives to ensure the integrity of the Crunch brand.

Requirements:

Maintain valid CPR Certification

Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification: AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred

Special Skills:

Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels

Strong customer service skills

Good verbal communication

Responsibilities:

Recruit and hire new Group Fitness Instructors

Point of contact for instructor and member concerns regarding Group Fitness notices, resources, special events, policy and procedures, education, new formats

Distribute, supply & maintain current club schedules at gym locations. Ensure all classes are covered and facilitate sub procedures at facility. Report class tracking numbers on a monthly basis to the manager.

Ensure all scheduled classes are reconciled or cancelled for Payroll purposes

Submit all quarterly schedule changes to group fitness training manager for updates to schedule and website.

Provide inventory of all equipment.

Educate club staff on proper procedures.

Submit all holiday schedule changes to group fitness training manager and distribute copies at clubs.

Promote Group Exercise classes and all special events inside the facilities, in the communities and on social media

Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook.
