Grinder Operator in Rancho Cucamonga

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Grinder I to join their team. As a Grinder I, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have good attendance, willingness to learn, and reliability which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Shift and Pay Rates:

• 1st - M-F: 4 am - 12:30 pm | $20/hour
• 2nd - M-F: 12 pm - 8:30 pm | $21/hour
• 3rd - Sun-Thurs: 8 pm - 4:30 am | $22/hour

What's the Job?

• Operate large swing grinders and small hand grinders to condition parts for defect removal
• Examine and feel surfaces of workpieces for defects and smooth surfaces as needed
• Remove defects, sharp edges, and excess weld material from parts
• Select appropriate abrasive belts, wheels, or disks based on specifications and metal condition
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all safety policies and procedures

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six to twelve months of related experience and/or training preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks at an offsite clinic
• Good attendance, willingness to learn, and reliability
• Physical ability to operate grinders and perform physical tasks
