We're seeking an ambitious and motivated Grain Merchandiser to join a growing agricultural team. This role is ideal for someone with an understanding of grain markets, logistics, and customer relationships who's looking to take the next step in their merchandising career.

You'll be responsible for managing relationships with producers and end users, developing grain origination strategies, and executing profitable trades. This position offers a strong base salary, uncapped earning potential through commissions, and excellent long-term growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Buy and sell grain while managing risk and maximizing margins.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers, elevators, and end users.
• Monitor market trends, basis levels, and freight to identify merchandising opportunities.
• Assist in grain origination and provide market insight and solutions to customers.
• Collaborate with operations and logistics to ensure timely and efficient grain movement.
• Maintain accurate records and manage contracts within company systems.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in grain merchandising, grain buying, or related agribusiness roles.
• Strong understanding of grain markets, hedging, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze market data and make sound business decisions.
• Degree in Agribusiness, Ag Economics, or related field preferred (not required).
