General Surgery Physician

This facility is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: 24 hour call coverage
Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
Types of Cases: Upper and Lower Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, lower gastroenterology tract with a fiberoptic flexible instrument inserted into the rectum and advanced to the beginning of the colon, appendectomy, hernias, hysterectomies, gall bladder removal, biopsies, and basic thoracic
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Active Kentucky license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
