General Manager

Join our Management Team! General Managers start between $47,000 - $50,000 annually + monthly bonus opportunities.

Summary:

Manage all restaurant functions to ensure excellent customer service, high-quality products, and profitability. Responsible for executing fast, accurate sandwich preparation, world-class customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized shift environment.

Requirements:

• Manage a staff of 3 Assistant Managers and approximately 3-50 employees, overseeing over 50 hours of labor weekly.
• Assign, oversee, and evaluate work for compliance.
• Handle hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating employees.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
• Delegate and oversee ordering, receipt, storage, and issuance of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies to minimize waste and theft.
• Assist in food supervision, preparation, sales, and service.
• Forecast food consumption per shift.
• Supervise food prep and service operations; assist during rush periods to maintain efficiency.
• Greet customers, take orders, operate the cash register, assemble orders, and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure all customers receive world-class service.
• Coordinate deliveries and supervise drivers to maximize delivery efficiency.
• Complete daily food prep tasks, including opening procedures and slicing.
• Execute systems and procedures with integrity and completeness.
• Accurately complete daily, weekly, and periodic paperwork.
• Manage inventory using weekly systems and maintain regular ordering schedules.
• Conduct weekly manager meetings.
• Audit systems, procedures, and shift paperwork.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Handle 100% of cash drawers during shifts.
• Manage deposits and change orders according to procedures.
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Strong math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages.
  • Proficient with computers, especially Excel and Word.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and perform visual tasks.
  • Occasional physical activities like climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or lifting up to 50 pounds.
