General Manager / Chef Manager

Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager / Chef Manager for Pingree School in South Hamilton, MA. We are looking for a skilled culinary leader to oversee a full-service café serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and catering operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on cooking experience, strong food and labor cost management skills, exceptional customer service, and proven leadership. This role offers daily interaction with students and staff, an open kitchen environment, and participation in the school’s sustainability initiatives, while enjoying a primarily Monday–Friday schedule.

• be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years         
Minimum Functional Experience  - 2 years
