Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Significant experience leading a public media organization, including providing strategic direction and oversight of day-to-day operations.

Deep understanding of public broadcasting technologies, including digital distribution, streaming, and broadcast operations.

Strong record of fiscal management, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage staff performance, and foster professional development.

Demonstrated success in fundraising, membership development, and cultivating philanthropic support.

Knowledge of FCC and CPB regulations, spectrum policy, and regulatory frameworks.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and advocacy skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to grow revenue streams and innovate in a changing media ecosystem.
