General Manager 1 - Multi-Service

The General Manager 1 - Multi-Service position will support Food and Environmental Services (EVS) at Decatur County Memorial Hospital located in Greensburg, IN.

What You'll Do

1. Have oversight of day-to-day operations;
2. Oversee Sodexo's Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery;
3. Have an exceptional client service mentality and executive presence;
4. Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
5. Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and work closely with the Infectious Control department;
6. Partner with the Environment of Care Committee, Infection Prevention Director and other key members of hospital leadership;
7. Manage cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies;
8. Mentor, develop, and retain managers and frontline staff;

What You Bring

• Have a background in food service or culinary management
• Are leaders who develop and motivate a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a housekeeping system;
• Have previous custodial or housekeeping director level experience preferably in a hospital environment;
• Can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading committees and change management;
• Have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;
• Are proficient with computers and other technology;
• Have experience with vendor and contract management, as well as union and contract negotiations; and/or
• Have strong financial acumen and budget management experience

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience 5 years

Minimum Functional Experience 5 years
