General Production Worker in Middletown, PA!

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team in a production environment. This role involves completing various labor duties to support the manufacturing process of large garage door springs for commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Measure materials using a tape measure up to 1/16'' accuracy.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 80 lbs.
• Perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Wrap, pack, and lift products as required.
• Feed products into ovens and clean materials.
• Fit springs according to specifications.

Essential Skills

• Experience using a tape measure with precision up to 1/16''.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Strong multitasking capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.

Work Environment

The work setting is a non-climate-controlled production environment, which can be dirty and very hot. The team consists of 8 experienced individuals who have been part of the company for 5-25 years. Dress code includes jeans and company-provided t-shirts or sweatshirts, with no requirement for steel-toed shoes but prohibiting sweat pants. Work on the first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a half-hour lunch break.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
