Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled machine operator to set up, maintain, and operate machinery. You will ensure the continuous and efficient running of production. A successful machine operator is reliable, attentive to detail, and adheres to safety standards. On-the-job training is available, and a willingness to learn and improve is essential. The goal is to ensure smooth production procedures to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities

• Assist punch press operators with cutting and setting up materials
• Use a shear to cut metal sheets
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure accuracy
• Use a calculator for adding and subtracting decimals
• Set up machines, including calibration and cleaning, to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings, such as speed
• Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test the operation of machines periodically

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.92 - $23.92/hr.
