General Education Teacher

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring three General Education Teachers to support classrooms across St. Louis, Missouri for the 20252026 school year. These full-time, in-person roles begin October 13, 2025, and run for 8 months, offering $35/hour for 40 hours/week.

Position Overview

• Location: St. Louis, Missouri (multiple campuses)
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• Duration: 8 months (20252026 SY)
• Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Modality: In-person
• Pay Rate: $35/hour
• Openings: 3

Responsibilities

• Implement daily instructional plans
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth
• Collaborate with administrators, parents, and fellow teachers
• Communicate effectively with students and staff
• Manage classroom behavior and support student success

Caseload & Support

• Class sizes range from 1520 students
• No additional classroom support specified

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Valid Missouri DESE teaching license with appropriate subject certification
• One year of teaching experience (preferred)
• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
