About The Position

About the Role:

Join this outstanding academic Cardiology department. They are seeking a full-time General Cardiologist to join our academic clinical faculty. This position arises as our current general cardiologist transitions to an interventional fellowship in June 2025.

Practice Setting:

• Clinical Service
• Outpatient cardiology clinic: up to 5 half day sessions per week
• Inpatient consult service: one-week blocks ( 10 weeks/year), covering a single hospital; weekend coverage only during inpatient rotations
• Call schedule: fellows handle overnight pages; attendings rarely take overnight calls

Academic Service:

• Participate in fellow teaching: Wednesday morning fellow conference, Tuesday cath conference, monthly Cardio Grand Rounds
• Provide 2-3 half days per week for reading/study and procedural training (TEE scheduling)
• Mentor 9 cardiology fellows (3 per class)
