About the Role

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified and passionate General Education School Teacher to implement daily instructional plans and foster a classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth. This role is ideal for educators who are committed to student success, effective classroom management, and collaborative teamwork.

As a School Teacher, you'll work closely with building administrators and fellow educators to deliver engaging instruction, maintain a positive learning atmosphere, and support students academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement daily instructional plans effectively and consistently
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development
• Establish rapport with students while ensuring proper classroom management
• Collaborate with administrators and other teachers to support student success
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and the broader school community

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher (required)
• Valid teaching license/certification (as applicable by state or district)
• One year of teaching experience (preferred)
• Ability to take direct responsibility for student safety and wellbeing
• Strong communication and instructional skills
• Basic proficiency in mathematical concepts
• Compliance with professional standards of practice
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
