This established hospital provides comprehensive gastroenterology services to the Memphis community. The facility offers full support for endoscopic procedures including advanced interventions like ERCP, with convenient lodging options available at the Courtyard Marriott directly across the street from the facility.

Board Certified - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
• Coverage needed December 29-January 4
• ERCP skills required along with EGD, Colonoscopy, and Stent placement
• Manage 10-15 patients per day with 4-5 hours of rounding
• Call responsibilities include approximately 5 calls while on duty with 0-1 times being called back in during a 24-hour shift
• Perform various endoscopic procedures including upper and lower GI endoscopy with biopsies
• Handle foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeders, and injection of varices
• Conduct therapeutic ERCP procedures and PEG placement
• Perform esophageal dilation/manometry and interpretation
• Conduct flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy procedures
• Provide colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision services
• Perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and liver biopsies as needed
• Must have active Tennessee medical license with no license suspensions in past 10 years
• Board certification required with PALS certification
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days with temporary privileges available
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
