Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified
BLS
North Carolina License Required
Fellowship: Preferred

Assignment Details
Practice Setting: Outpatient + Inpatient
No Resident or Teaching Supervision Required
Stroke Certified Hospital
Patients Per Shift: 10+
Beds: 86 at Location 1 + 154 at Location 2
EMR: McKesson and Athena

Required Skills
Upper GI Endoscopy:
With biopsy
With foreign body removal
With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
With injection of varices
ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography): Diagnostic +Therapeutic
With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Colonoscopy:
With biopsy
With excision of polyp

Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
Small Bowel Biopsy
Lower GI Endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy: Flexible + Rigid
EUS (Endoscopic ultrasound) - PREFERRED
