Join our dynamic team as a Store Team Member, where you'll play a vital role in creating an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.

Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.50 | Year 3 - $19.00 | Year 4 - $19.00 | Year 5 - $20.00

Please note that training will take place at a nearby location until the new store is ready for opening.

• Efficiently process customer purchases and engage in general cleaning duties.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays in an organized and appealing manner.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, helping customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain clear communication with store management.
• Provide valuable feedback to management regarding products, inventory discrepancies, and general store issues.
• Assist with store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring the security and confidentiality of company documents and data.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed.

Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to stock merchandise and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on various shelving heights. Regular tasks include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the store. Qualifications:

• You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role at ALDI.
• Proven ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation skills.
• Ability to safely use equipment like electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
• Experience with general company-standard cleaning duties.
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions while multitasking efficiently.
• Meet any local and state requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is an advantage.
• A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
