Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Cook at Zaxbys, your contributions are crucial to creating an excellent guest experience. You will:

• Complete all required training, including the Zaxbys Back of House Development Plan and hands-on station training.
• Deliver friendly and enthusiastic service to all guests.
• Stay updated on current promotions and embody the Zaxbys brand.
• Assist in guest service and help with front-of-house operations.
• Prepare menu items adhering to company standards and sanitary guidelines.
• Follow safety regulations when handling food and beverages.
• Effectively use kitchen equipment while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Manage product levels at your assigned stations to ensure efficiency.
• Accurately assemble and package orders for guests.
• Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized.
• Support inventory and storage management, receive deliveries, and inform management when stock is low.
• Complete all tasks efficiently and safely while following all procedures.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• Availability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.

Required Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk consistently.
• Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including using ladders.
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Engage in continuous use of hands and wrists for various tasks.
• Communicate effectively through speech, reading, and writing.
• Maintain effective audio-visual perception for a responsive work environment.
• Work in conditions with temperature variations and potential food allergens.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment such as knives and fryers.
