We proudly serve our communities seven days a week, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. Additionally, all Physicians Care centers hold the Accredited Care Center designation from the Urgent Care Association, reflecting our commitment to safety, quality, and comprehensive service delivery.

Job Summary:
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional clinical care to our patients. Our full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours a week, including 12-hour shifts during the week and every other weekend. PRN team members will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential for this position and may vary:

• Greet patients warmly upon arrival in waiting and treatment areas.
• Communicate wait times effectively and guide patients through treatment processes.
• Address patient concerns promptly and seek assistance in emergency situations when necessary.
• Make timely follow-up calls to patients.
• Support front desk staff with patient check-in/out processes as needed.
• Accurately obtain and document patient vital signs, history, current medications, and allergies.
• Assist with patient transfers and support procedures under provider supervision.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient visits as per the established protocols.

What’s Required?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certificate or relevant experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
- Current BLS Certification
