Full-Time LMFT or LMHC Therapist

Job Summary: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Join our dedicated team as a therapist providing vital diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy for ambulatory mental health services. You will engage in case management, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions across diverse modalities for individuals, families, and groups.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Offer psychotherapy and counseling for individuals and families, focusing on mental health and dual disorders. Your expertise will cover crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, stress management, couples counseling, addictions counseling, and family therapy.
• Demonstrate clinical competency with a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches in individual, family, couples, and group therapy.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations with members, utilizing the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to determine appropriate care levels.
• Evaluate the urgency of members' needs and implement suitable therapeutic actions including crisis interventions and care coordination.
• Assess treatment and prevention of mental disorders while providing resources and information to members. Remain knowledgeable about KP and community resources.
• Engage in KP-sponsored studies/research, collecting and recording data on behavioral and interpersonal challenges. Propose intervention alternatives and resolutions.
• Participate in consultations with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support assessments and treatment plans, acting as a consultant for team members.
• Maintain expertise in clinical practices and utilize best practices for behavioral health service delivery.
• Prepare therapy records, reports, and documentation while participating in clinical team meetings and quality management activities.
• Comply with organizational and regulatory guidelines ensuring the highest standard of clinical care.
• Perform other clinical duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of post-degree clinical experience.
• Education: Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
• License, Certification, Registration: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Mental Health Counselor License in Hawaii, Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association), and National Provider Identifier.

Additional Requirements:

• Proficient in conducting assessments using the latest DSM.
• Strong skills in adaptability, conflict resolution, decision-making, teamwork, and effective communication.
• Experience in evidence-based treatment, including group therapy and intensive outpatient treatment for various populations.
• Capable of writing comprehensive treatment plans.
• Taxonomy code required at time of hire.
• Successful completion of credentialing process upon hire is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Documentary knowledge according to national accreditation guidelines.
• Experience providing behavioral health services within primary care.
• Exposure to addiction issues and crisis interventions.

Primary Location: Ala Moana, Honolulu, HI

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM, 40 hours/week
