Full-Time Family Medical Assistant/LPN/EMT/Paramedic - Day Shift

We have immediate openings for:

• Medical Assistants (MA, CMA or RMA) - Candidates must have graduated from an accredited medical assisting program.
• Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) with a valid Wisconsin license.
• Paramedics with a valid Wisconsin license.
• Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) with a valid Wisconsin license.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Patient rooming and ensuring comfort.
• Assisting with in-office procedures.
• Administering injections and vaccines.
• Performing general administrative tasks within our electronic medical record system (Epic).

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, with shifts between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• No nights, weekends, or holidays required.

Job Summary:

Provide care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, based on your scope of practice.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient assessments and promote well-being.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Conduct laboratory tests and offer therapeutic services.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, and available resources.
• Document provider encounters and transcribe necessary orders.
• Maintain a vigilant and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

• Graduates from an accredited nursing program or equivalent education for licensure.

Experience:

• No prior experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, and speaking for communication.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally handle 25-50 pounds.
• Visual acuity for assessing patient conditions, along with keen hearing for recognizing alarms and communications.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association.
• Valid LPN license issued by the corresponding state board.
