• Evening shifts with a rotation every 4th weekend, 2 holidays/year.
• Open to qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) candidates.
• North Dakota MLT or MLS state license required prior to start date.
• ASCP or AMT certification within 12 months of employment.

Job Summary:

Our MLS/MLT professionals are responsible for ensuring timely testing and delivering high-quality results, enabling nursing staff and healthcare providers to make informed decisions for their patients. Regardless of whether you work as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician, you will find numerous opportunities to grow, advance, and significantly impact our community.

Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures for MLS/MLTs.
• Ensure laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify safety hazards and follow all safety protocols.
• Collect and process lab specimens using appropriate equipment.
• Conduct clinical laboratory testing through both manual and automated methods.
• Collect and manage patient samples, including blood and other fluids.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences is required.
• Must have national certification for Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or be registry eligible through an approved agency, such as ASCP.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) is also acceptable.
• Registry eligible candidates must pass the Board of Registry exam within 12 months of employment.
• North Dakota MLT or MLS state license is required.
• Continuing education credits as per state requirements for license and certification maintenance.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
