Full-Time Cytotechnologist - Day Shift

As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a crucial role in the evaluation and interpretation of cell studies. Your work will provide essential information to physicians, facilitating accurate diagnoses and improving overall patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess microscopic cell preparations for abnormalities.
• Prepare and process cell samples to expedite accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain up-to-date patient follow-up records for procedures and results.
• Input test results data and conduct quality control for precise reporting.
• Collaborate with physicians and various departments for accurate test interpretations.
• Document the total number of slides examined daily.
• Track and report the hours spent examining slides each day.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support team objectives.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a baccalaureate degree.
• Certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT ASCP) or equivalent is required.
• Previous relevant experience of six months to one year is necessary.
