Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents in long-term care settings. This position focuses on delivering resident-centered nursing care and assisting with daily living activities, all under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). You will cater to the physical and psychological needs of residents as outlined in their care plans.

As a Bath Aide CNA, you will:

• Assist residents with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and wellbeing of residents.
• Support residents during meal preparation and dining, providing hydration and nutrition assistance.
• Help with transferring, repositioning, and ambulating residents while applying safe techniques and equipment.
• Document and report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean living environment.
• Encourage resident participation in wellness and recreational programs.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to organization committees as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) required; if not already certified, must obtain certification within four months of hire.
• Complete yearly competency testing and maintain a record of continuing education with a minimum of 12 hours required annually.
• For certain states, registration as an Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) may be required.
