A Chick-fil-A Front of House Associate performs guest service and assembles meals for guests. A Front of House Associate's job duties include greeting customers, taking customer orders, and completing transactions on the cash register and orders on iPad in the drive thru. Duties consist of taking orders, preparing drinks, and delivering food to vehicles. Must be available to work 30 hours per week minimum.

Responsibilities for a Front of House Associate:

• Love working with people
• Enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions, safety precautions always taken
• Operating the registers or iPads in the drive thru, or at the front counter when needed
• Look for opportunities to stock or clean when not serving a customer
• Taking and assembling orders with speed and accuracy
• Learn all positions, including headset, order-taker, assembling meals, making drinks, delivering food to guests and or vehicles.
• Checking for product quality and consistency
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items

As a Front of House Associate we ask you to:

• Have the ability to communicate effectively in English
• Be at least 16 years of age
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
• Have the ability to lift and carry 30-65 lbs.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, exceeding 7-9 hours.
• Have reliable transportation
• Be comfortable working outside, if necessary, in varying weather conditions
• Be proficient in iPad use
• Cross train in other areas of the restaurant when needed
• Be timely with a sense of urgency when serving guests in a timely manner
• Be comfortable in a fast paced environment
• Be willing to work 15-25 hours a week.

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and may have to lift 30-65 pounds. Outside work is required. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
