Front END Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Front End Developer to join one of their top financial clients in NYC or Jersey City. This person will be joining the Traded Products team within Risk Technology. They will be responsible for building and maintaining an internal platform for delivering trade, position and risk datasets to internal consumers including Trading, Risk Management, Finance and Regulatory functions. They should be a strong front end developer in React JS and must have experience building RESTful Web Services. They will be working on a project to upgrade the applications to React 18. The majority of their day will be editing/maintaining existing code as well as writing code from scratch.

- Experience with Python/Java for backend
- Experience with Tornado Web Server
- Financial background (specifically in trading, market risk, credit risk, back/middle office)
- 7-10 years' experience as a front end developer
- Experience building complex front end web applications - using React JS
- Experience building RESTful web services
- Experience with WebSocket
- Material UI knowledge
