As a Cargo Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of freight. This position involves frequent physical activity, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying freight. You will be responsible for staging and auditing next day routes and performing various warehouse tasks as needed.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Loading and unloading freight from trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
• Utilizing approved equipment to ensure safe operations.
• Using handheld scanners to track freight throughout the network.
• Accurately staging and auditing next day routes.
• Labeling boxes and preparing freight for shipment as required.
• Verifying documentation and condition of freight to ensure quality standards are met.
• Checking in and unloading freight accurately.
• Recouping or restoring damaged freight when necessary.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work environment.
• Performing additional warehouse tasks as directed (e.g., cardboard disposal, demanufacturing, etc.).
• Working independently while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
