Forklift Operator

Pay: Starting at $17/hour

Type: Contract to Hire

Location: Sellersburg, IN

Job Description:

Operate forklifts to transport materials and support efficient warehouse operations. Includes handling shipments, maintaining inventory, and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts
• Receive, inspect, and unload shipments
• Move inventory to designated areas
• Prepare materials for packaging/shipping
• Maintain inventory records
• Follow safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ year forklift experience (must have operated within the last year)
• Certification: Valid forklift certification
• Skills: Material handling, warehouse operations, RF scanners, pallet jacks
• Physical: Able to lift heavy objects, work in fast-paced environment
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, teamwork, communication

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.25/hr.
