Enjoy pay increases after 90 days and 1 year of employment.

Schedule: Dispatch between 5-8am from Tuesday to Saturday.

The Non CDL Driver I position is essential for ensuring that foodservice products are delivered with exceptional service. You will be responsible for driving a company vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) limit of 14,900. While experience in commercial or professional driving is preferred, it is not mandatory. All candidates must meet the medical requirements set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT). The focus will be on safety, efficiency, and following DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles for multiple stops.
• Transport products by driving assigned vehicles.
• Utilize hand trucks for moving items to customer locations, including navigating stairs when necessary.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries using hand scanners and documentation as required.
• Manage returns efficiently with proper documentation.
• Communicate customer delivery issues to appropriate teams (Customer Service, Territory Manager, Transportation Supervisor).
• Follow designated stop sequences for deliveries.
• Safely unload and stage products at customer locations.
• Check invoices for accuracy and process any damaged goods.
• Collect payments if required.
• Monitor refrigeration systems in the delivery vehicle and adhere to safe food handling procedures consistently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tires, and refueling.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid U.S. driver's license issued by your state of residence with no significant traffic violations or DUI convictions in the past three years. Must pass a DOT physical.
• No commercial driving experience is necessary; however, one year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred, or six months of local delivery/foodservice experience.
• Preferred experience with hand cart deliveries.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English regarding job functions and safety.
• Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks.
• Knowledge of local areas or map-reading skills is advantageous.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting frequently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
