About the Role

Join a mission-driven culinary team where your cooking skills directly impact patient care and staff well-being. As a Cook in our hospital's Nutritional Services department, you'll prepare fresh, high-volume meals in a fast-paced, supportive environment. We follow a cook-to-serve modelno frozen shortcuts, just real ingredients and real impact.

What You'll Do

• Prepare fresh meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner using hospital-approved recipes.
• Handle prep work between meal services to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Cook on open flat tops and deep fryersthink eggs, burgers, hot dogs, and Philly Cheese Steaks.
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are met at every step.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in volume cooking (hospital, hotel, restaurant, or country club experience is a plus).
• Confidence in measuring, cutting, and following recipes accurately.
• A customer-first mindset and strong teamwork skills.
• ServSafe Certification preferred (but not requiredwe'll help you get there!).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
