Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Service Manager 2 to join our team at the US Marine Corps at Mess Hall 455 Camp Johnson, Camp Lejeune, NC. Camp Johnson is a subdivision of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and is home to the Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools. Located near downtown Jacksonville, NC, the sub-camp is largely self-sufficient, in that it has its own chow hall, post exchange, MWR recreation facilities, and water supply. The chow hall is open seven days a week feeding three meals per day, it feeds 2800 meals per day.

• Oversee the food service program.
• FOH & BOH
• Manage a team of 30
• Some weekends and holidays will be required. Managers rotate.

What You Bring

• Have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
• Have basic culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
• Have the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
• Prefer ServSafe certification
