Food Operations Manager 1

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 1 to oversee the food service operations at the Warren Wilson College located in Swannanoa, NC. Warren Wilson is a small private college near Asheville, North Carolina.  We have 700 students on campus.  We have an all you can eat Dining hall with a vegetarian cafe as part of the offering.  We also have a small coffee shop and moderate catering on campus.  Warren Wilson College is a work college so we supervise 50 to 70 students as part of the work program. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. • have oversight of day-to-day operations;

• have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; 
• have 3-5 years management experience in a multi-unit high volume dining environment;
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; 
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; 
• demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systems and proficiency in computer skills/report management

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
