As a Float Radiology Technologist, you will carry out essential diagnostic examinations, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to examination protocols.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality x-ray imaging while ensuring proper patient positioning.
• Greet patients warmly, gather necessary medical history, and input information accurately into our computer systems.
• Demonstrate outstanding patient care, minimizing radiation exposure and maximizing comfort.
• Provide coverage and support during times of high demand, such as call-outs or busy schedules.
• Mentor and guide new hires in their roles.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and facility protocols while performing all procedures.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with patients about their procedures, ensuring they understand next steps.
• Review each examination for accuracy and present findings to radiologists.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine.
• ARRT certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in general radiology.

Preferred Qualities:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Compensation for this role ranges from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour, based on various factors including experience and local labor market conditions.
