Fleet Mechanic Position

Target Pay of $32.00/hr

This role's main duty is to maintain and repair Material Handling Equipment, troubleshoot vehicle equipment failures, disassemble, fix, and reassemble parts as needed.

The Orlando location maintains a diverse set of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), requiring technicians to be proficient across multiple platforms:

- Electric Stand-Up Forklifts

- Toyota Sit-Down Forklifts Single (SNGL) and Double (DBL)

- TYGARD Claw Propane Forklifts

- Toyota / CAT Propane Forklifts

- Pallet Jacks (Manual & Powered Units)

- Crown Mid-Center Units Equipped with FLUX and DECA Batteries, operating on 110V systems

- Geo-Sleds

- Industrial Scrubbers

Recommended Technician Knowledge Areas:

- Maintenance and diagnostics of Toyota, Crown, and Flux MHE systems

- Familiarity with propane, electric, and battery-operated MHE platforms

- Safety protocols for indoor/outdoor shop environments and battery handling procedures

Here's a bit more about what your job will be as an entry-level Fleet Mechanic. Day to day you will:

• Work with a high degree of independence while performing PMs and repairs
• Utilize leading edge technology and programs including PM using voice application, Noregon diagnostics, Uptake predictive analytics, TAAS, and more!
• Leverage and grow your skills working on Pepsi's diverse fleet equipment including automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans and forklifts
• Diagnose failures of vehicles and disassemble, repair and reassemble parts as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation and vehicle software system such as work orders, vehicle records, part reconciliation and pre-trip checklists
• Support Pepsi's strong safety culture by adhering to all safety standards and procedures
