GSE Mechanic Denver International Airport (DIA)

Location: Denver, CO

As a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic, you'll maintain and repair the essential equipment that supports aircraft operationsfrom baggage carts to belt loaders and de-icing trucks. Your work ensures safety, reliability, and efficiency on the ground, where every second counts.

Pay & Shifts

Pay: $31$35/hour (DOE)

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: 6:00am2:30pm (Lead Position)
• 2nd Shift: 2:00pm10:30pm (Mechanic)
• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm6:30am (Mechanic)

Schedule:

• Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday

Note: Must be available to work holidays and weekends

What You'll Do

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair ground support equipment (GSE) including gas, diesel, and electric-powered vehicles
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure equipment availability

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment repair (GSE experience a plus)
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
• Team-oriented mindset and commitment to safety and reliability

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
