This candidate will have strong experience in healthcare finance, Medicaid, or nursing home operations to lead a collaborative team and drive strategic financial initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and audit readiness.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal/state regulations, and healthcare-specific standards.
• Collaborate across departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Optimize accounting systems and internal controls for greater efficiency and transparency.
• Serve as a key liaison with auditors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

What We're Looking For

• MBA in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• Healthcare industry experienceespecially in Medicaid, nursing homes, or nonprofit healthcare (required)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with proven leadership success
• Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting tools, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.10 - $72.12/hr.
