Top Skills' Details Mechanical Assembly - Use of tools to assist with build and repair of chiller units.

Blueprint Reading: Must be able to read from work instructions or prints to complete assembly.

Hand tool and Power Tools: Having the ability to use hand tools and use schematics to assemble large parts consistently and with low rate of error is paramount to success.

Job Description: Temporary travel assignment to support incomplete unit rework. This role is in all essence a helper or pair of second hands to the Level 2 technicians.

Under the leadership of the Service Lead, support rework/parts installation on CRAH unit at customer warehouse:

Level #1 (6 openings) | Unit cleaning, unit wrapping, manual work, support level #2 with their duty. Level 1 Candidate must be able to use hand/power tools and be hands on support for Level 2 partners.

Contribute to daily report preparation on the work performed

Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA, and company/warehouse policies while working on units.

Read and interpret blue prints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing various components onto the product (CRAH and Chiller.)

Visually inspect incoming material to ensure product meets quality standards.

Torque, bolt, rivet, screw, clip, bond component parts from control panels to various components.

Inspect assemblies and installation to meet quality specifications.

Operate computer equipment to read drawings of product and bills of materials.

Coordinate work flow, paperwork and communications to meet production needs, as directed by the team leader or supervisor.

Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area.

Perform point to point, hi pot and other testing as required

Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards.

Ability to use hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 2+ Years of experience in Assembly, Mechanic, repair/rebuild, install or a similar field working on large parts

Must have basic computer skills to be able to open up documents and work from an HMI

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Must be willing to travel 100% (including weekends when required).

Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work in tight spaces, and climb ladders as needed.

Comfortable working in mission-critical environments with high uptime requirements.

Strong team-player; ability to maintain a positive relationship with coworkers, clients, customers.

Essential Technical Knowledge Required:

Understands electrical, mechanical and control systems;

Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings;

Able to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools;

After remote work is done end of December/beginning on January, these employees will join the Mesa 2 plant as an electrician or assembler.
