The "FOM" supports the operations and personnel comprised of multiple locations. This position ensures that key Ryder FMS maintenance objectives, plans, and strategies are effectively communicated, implemented and met within their respective location(s) within the business unit, which is inclusive of all maintenance and quality processes and financial measures. This role is also critical as a liaison to customers, supporting the sales process and assisting in problem resolution in regards to maintenance services. In addition, the role also participates in the growth of the branches (business unit) through increased customer retention, expansion, and new sales. The position ensures that all locations within the assigned branches, or business unit, under his/her control comply with company policies and are operating within Federal, State, Provincial, and Local laws. Lastly, this position will require the individual to collaborate with all functional groups to meet operational excellence standards.

Essential Functions

• Lead in maintenance, planning, performance measurement and continuous improvement processes. Ensures maintenance initiatives are supportive of field organization. Provide business management support. Provide customer satisfaction and retention measurements
• Implementation of business unit and headquarters maintenance programs. Direct maintenance activities including policy compliance, marketing and sales support, vehicle specifications, asset management. Measure and chart success of maintenance initiatives (key programs). Provide local training support
• Delivers consistent business unit maintenance processes while leveraging the field creativity. Coordinates Ryder-wide (new structure) and business unit opportunities. Identify and establish maintenance plans that enhance Ryder image with current and potential customers
• Capture and share best practices. Contribute to the creation of the Best Practice Template in the new structure. Facilitate the implementation of new techniques
• Help improve productivity of sales force. Participate on the sales team as the maintenance technical expert. Participate in the growth of the customer base and the increased retention of the current customers
• Have high visibility and interface with the General Managers. Be a "value added" resource for the branches. Be the "go to" person to leverage the division knowledge and expertise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required Related to field
• Eight (8) years or more Extensive Ryder, maintenance and field experience required
• Working knowledge of sales and accounting areas advanced required

Compensation Information: The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type: Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: 130,000

Maximum Pay Range: 130,000
