Summary : APP duties include rounding with surgeon, vein harvesting if needed, first assisting in OR if needed, procedures if needed. There are 2 opportunities - OR only first assist or rounding + OR
Setting: Inpatient: depending on needs there would be flex between ICU/floor and OR
Shift: Daily 6am-6pm (end time varies) Weekend coverage 1:3
Dates: Start as soon as credentialed
Patients per day : 15
ICU : Site manages their own ICU patients. Rounding on ICU patients daily. Ability to put in lines and do chest tubes/thoracentesis would be ideal. Not required though.
Preferred Procedures :
EVH system : Hemopro2
Population : Adults
License : WI license only, no compact is accepted
EMR : Epic
Additional Info : Could take NP, depending on the NP's experience
