Locums Opportunity - Seattle, WA
Position Title: Primary Care PA-C or ARNP (Inpatient Psychiatry)
Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Unit
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule

Tuesday / Thursday / Friday: 4.8 hours per day
Wednesday: 9.6 hours (covers two floors)
No Call
EMR: Epic
Patient Load: 4-6 patients per shift
Facility Beds: 35 beds per floor
Provider responsible for one floor on T/Th/Fri and two floors on Wednesday

Licenses & Certifications Required

Active Washington State ARNP or PA-C license
DEA and NPI with prescriptive authority
BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Preferred Experience

Family practice, geriatrics, and young adult populations
Experience with mentally ill patients
Managing chronic populations with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions
Knowledge of applicable psychiatric care regulations and standards

Responsibilities

Conduct history and physical exams (H&Ps) for all new admissions
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Develop and complete Treatment Plans with interdisciplinary input
Collaborate with psychiatric providers
Prescribe, monitor, and evaluate medications
Order and interpret lab tests
Provide withdrawal management support
Document medical care accurately and thoroughly
Support antimicrobial stewardship
Perform additional duties as assigned
