We are seeking a Family Physician Assistant for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Maine, beginning on Oct 28, 2025. The role involves four ten-hour shifts from Tuesday to Friday, primarily focusing on outpatient primary care across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions as needed
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, wellness, and treatment options
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in community outreach and wellness programs

Additional Information

• Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks EMR system required
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in a team-oriented rural community health environment
