Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Dignity Health Medical Group Nevada is currently seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners to join our growing outpatient primary care team in Las Vegas - West Flamingo Clinic.

• Adult medicine including:
  • Acute sick visits
  • Lab/imaging follow-up appointments
  • Management of stable chronic medical conditions, with goal of moving to management of medically complex patients
  • Medicare annual wellness exams

• 5 years of ambulatory primary care NP experience required

• R.N. Degree Advanced Practitioner of Nursing.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory practice and medical care to give and evaluate patient care.
• Ability to assess medical conditions and interpret findings.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate clearly. Strong organizational project management and education development skills.
• Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize the electronic medical record
• Demonstrates organizational skills and strong leadership ability.
• Certification as Advanced Practice RN. Licensed in Nevada as an Advanced Practice RN (must obtain Nevada license prior to hire). CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA
