Physicians Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to enhance our vibrant healthcare team. With 12 locations across Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, we're proud to be an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast.

About Us: Our convenient walk-in centers offer a variety of healthcare services, including treatment for injuries, urgent care, and occupational health. Open seven days a week, our centers ensure that quality healthcare is always accessible. All Physicians Care locations are Accredited Care Centers, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to safety and quality care.

Your Role: As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Physicians Care, you will provide top-notch medical care to patients of all ages who present with various acute and chronic conditions. Collaborating with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients, ensuring an exceptional standard of care.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Diagnosing and managing a range of medical conditions in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
• Performing essential medical procedures such as suturing, injection administration, and minor surgeries.
• Maintaining clinical skills and ensuring compliance with medical policies and standards.
• Participating in continuous education programs and staff training.
• Recommending growth opportunities for services at the clinic.

What We’re Looking For:

• A relevant state license as an APRN or Physician Assistant.
• Certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA.
• A current DEA license, or the willingness to obtain one upon hire.
• BLS certification.
• Experience is preferred, but we welcome new graduates to apply!
